We pay you in Euros from our European registered company, with European terms and conditions. All of your data is safely stored here locally.

How much does this service cost?

Wildebeest charges a small fee, depending on the scope of the contract.

Will I need a U.S. work authorization (visa)?

Nope! Your contract will be with us in the EU.

Who can use Wildebeest?

We are here to serve self-employed EU citizens living anywhere in the world except in the United States.

What types of jobs are available through Wildebeest?

We support self-employed remote contractor jobs. These should be jobs that never require you to enter the United States. The employer will work with Wildebeest through a C2C contract, versus paying you as a 1099 or W-2 employee.

We are unable to accommodate W2 or 1099 contracts.

If you’re in doubt, reach out to us and we can help you figure out whether the client wants to employ you (not suitable for Wildebeest) or pay you as a contractor (let’s go!)

What currency will I be paid in?

We typically pay in Euros, but please ask if another currency is needed.

Do I have to live in the EU?

You can live anywhere in the world except in the United States to use our services.

Can I still travel to the U.S.?

Yes! You are welcome to travel to the U.S. for pleasure, however, please do not work while you are there as we will not issue a work visa of any form.

What taxes will I need to pay?

You will be responsible for your standard self-employment taxes. Depending on where you live, we may invoice with or without VAT.

Who negotiates my rate with the client?

You will handle all of your own employment negotiations with the client.
